A nonfiction novel by Truman Capote. My English professor at Marian is having us read a true story about a murder. I haven't read a murder book since; well I just don't read them. For the same reason I don't watch shows like CSI. I hate being afraid of evil. When I read a book that allows me to meet a lovely family who I know will be killed in the next 70 pages, I just don't handle it well. They are murdered in Kansas by men who are agree at their happiness. Reading it makes me terrified. I don't breath properly, my bodies lies tense, and I continuously glace out our Family Room door to see if any suspicious men are approaching. I hate being overcome with fear of evil. I don't read this stuff.

Ever since I was little I've had an over active fear senses, but unlike most people mine really haven't lessened. I just don't get scared easily because when I focus on lovely things, and when I abide in Jesus there is no need to fear, but when I dwell wickedness the Devil has a door to enter my mind and mess around. I honestly couldn't walk up the stairs last night until I began to pray out loud and obsessively turn every light on. I had a few panic attaches before safely falling asleep last night, but... I hate books like this.

There is a reason that our Savior instructed us to think about good things, and to renew our minds like Christ Jesus. The material that our minds dwell on becomes our attitude, and emotions. It we dwell on Him, than we will grow in His likeness, and when we dwell on murder novels we become paralyzed and have to remind ourselves of His power. (At least I do.) As far as interesting stories go In Cold Blood is fascinating. I just hate the effect it has on me

She steps out of her car with her arms holding as many things as she can grasp. The girl taps her door shut with her foot, and almost looses her balance, but catches herself and heads toward the church door. As she reaches the steps a familiar car drives past. She smiles and a loud gasp exits her lungs. "Flo is here!!!" Her cousin had told her that she wasn't going to come down to Indianapolis this weekend, but for whatever reason she had come, and Rebekah was so excited. She quickly set down her many belongings, and ran towards her beloved cousin. The intense friendship that exists between the girls accounts for the eagerness to embrace one another and catch up on all that God has done in thier lives. Not only are Flo and Rebekah cousins, they are dear life-long friends. The girls spend hours on the phone chatting about anything and everything. They hold each other accountable to the commitments and goals they have, and the girls pray for each other. God has graciously blessed them with this kind of precious relationship, and living more than a hour away means that when they see each other, they run, and smile and scream "I love you. I missed you. How are you?!"
As they ran to each other’s arms somehow they missed, and Rebekah was knocked over, or better put, floored by Flo's powerful love.
See, the girls love each other so much, and their hearts are so closely knit, that sometimes the only appropriate response is to be floored by the love of God bestowed on them. Sometimes, it's painful, as Rebekah is so acutely aware, but it's a blessing, and blessing that Rebekah will be thankful for through all eternity. Not everyone has a cousin that is four days, twenty hours and thirty minutes older than them. What's more, a girl who loves God so much that talking with her brings one that much closer to God Himself. Rebekah, is thankfully floored by the blessing and the power of love.

Good Day,

I hope that you are well. I am. God is so so very good. He has overwhelmed me with His goodness and grace. I will never be able to understand. I'm just happy that He is and will forever be God.

I want to play a game again. We haven't done that in a while. Let's all post something good. It can be about a person, place or thing. At the end of it, you have to thank God for that 'goodness'.

I have a bunch of school to get done. It's been a good day, and it will continue to be. I don't know, sometimes the joy inside just gets me so excited I have to SMILE.

Ok, so Alissa and Valerie just left. They spent the night last night, and that was very fun. Yesterday Margs and I did Worldviews vidoes but we still have an hour or more to finish so we will be trying to figure that out at some point. We also went to the fair together yesterday afternoon which was super fun.

I am on my way to an eye appointment. Yes, I may be getting new glasses. Because I am not a huge contact person, and since I don't have to wear my contacts/glasses all the time, I end up not wearing them at all. Anyways, we shall see.

I am then going to work this evening until 8. I will be very exhausted when I get home but I am going to try to get some stuff done this evening. See, when my friends come over we stay up unrealistically late and well... I get tired really easy.

I hate posting too much on one blog in one day, because then people don't comment on everything because they don't see everything. Anyways I wanted to post again, but I just posted on my other blog, so I am posting on here.

The boys and I all just made pizza's. It was great fun. I mean I like made 4 batches of pizza dough, and I was all like ready to do something boring but then I didn't because Sam was all like "I want to help... PLEASE!" So I ended up letting him, and now I am all happy, because I spend the last hour working with my favorite people.

I am talking with David at the moment, and it is rather hardish so I am going to stop posting because I can't really talk with him and post at the same time very well.

Ok Luke just got on with him, so I am going to keep on here.

Anyways, I love this day. Valerie and Alissa came over last night and we had a great time. This morning we went to The Unique Thrift Store. I bought a bunch of stuff as usual and so did they. It was great.

Anyways, so I am really hoping that tomorrow is just as good of weather as today. It really helps my Sunday spirit when the skys are clear and the wind is calling. God just is more real.

Ok Luke and David just decided that he was going to come over here and work with him on a mower problem. Which reminds me of the movie I saw last night. We watched The Prince and Me. You know the whole mower racing times, ok yeah anyways.

Tonight I am going to watch the new Luther movie. Yeah I think that Mr. Pulliam and David are coming, and Mom, Dad, Luke and I are all going to like hang and watch it. I saw that movie like 2 years ago, I want to see it again.

I had an Izze today. I love them. I had sparlking blackberry flavor, and the coolest part is that the yummy drink is not a soda, in fact it's 100% juice. BUT, it is like carbonated, so it tastes delightful. You all should try it.
